Associate, Platform Specialist, Markit Trade Processing - White Plains

Role Summary

The Markit Trade Processing group covers many different facets of trade execution and reconciliation such as Allocations, Tie-Outs, Confirmations and Portfolio Reconciliation. This opening provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced platform specialist to establish themselves as part of this fast growing team within Markit.

Duties and Accountabilities

• Managing implementation projects, liaising with Markit Trade Processing’s clients (banks, brokers, end users and electronic execution platforms) and interacting with all parts of the Markit Trade Processing organisation (Marketing, Customer Services, Business Analysts, Developers etc)
• Providing ongoing support in areas such as the addition of new funds/entities, client implementation of new functionality etc.
• Liaising with the client and Markit Trade Processing staff to ensure that operational processes are designed to meet clients’ business needs
• Scheduling and managing the resulting processing runs
• Diagnosing and resolving any resulting exceptions or errors.
• Pre- and post-sales support in sales and implementation meetings
• Providing expert advice and support for clients during Markit Trade Processing implementation projects
• Giving customer training as required
• Providing input into new functionality based on client feedback
• Maintaining implementation documentation and user-guides.
